New Werewolf

In case you guys didn't already know, there's going to be a werewolf in the upcoming movie - 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. Unfortunately, the only merchandise that they are going to have of it is a small statue. You can't even purchase the statue by itself. It has to be bought as part of an expensive 14-piece set. I really wish that they would have it into an action figure, or as a larger size maquette as they have done with some of the other characters. http://www.sylvanlaneshoppe.com/NECAStatueSet.jpg

Here's a rough sculpt of the actual werewolf that's going to be in the film.

Its possible it might have one.

Take a close look at this picture. If you look to the right of it. (his left arm) you see a stub sticking out near the elbow. That could be the tail.

It would really be nice if they posted a picture of the side view of that.

I don't think it will have a tail because this one doesn't

Maybe it is designed for a nice stick-the-tail-on-werewolf game

Contacting the Big Giant Head

The head's way too huge! Gah!

I think that nub is a tail sticking out from the back, but maybe not; the movie model doesn't have one. But, in other respects, it's at least trying to look wolf-like. And, it's not hairless. Still, some of the other creatures look really cool.

What is it with the fantasy genre and screwing up werewolves?!? I can understand the horror genre goobering it up with ugliness, but does fantasy have to do it, too? Come on, guys! Watch Ladyhawke for a few minutes. (You can boogie to its soundtrack.) You can have decent-looking werewolves in fantasy movies. (OK, Ladyhawke pulled it off, because he turned into a real wolf, not a mess. But, I'll take it at this rate.)

On the plus side, we've solved the problem of fitting a human brain into a wolf's skull while shapeshifting.

Bleleleleleleleleh!

OK, I've got to say it...

Aphex Twin's "Rubber Johnny" gets lycanthropic! Maybe that little Chihuahua with the spooky eyes bit him.

(In case you forgot, it was a very disturbing film short from a few months back...)

Well the wolf in the trailer looked pretty good.
