This thread is for discussion of all things Nintendo, whether past, present, or future, or whether it's consoles, controllers, or games, or whatever else you can think of.

Nintendorks unite beneath the lord and master of all games, the mighty Nintendo!

Having said that, did any of you ever play Harvest Moon on N64? HOLY HELL, that game rocked. Farming, breeding cattle, going to festivals, courting young ladies...who could ask for more (except maybe a female version of the main character...). Honestly, when you first look at this game, it seems so lame, but once you play it, you're never the same!

Is anyone here a SNES fan such as myself? I love 16 bit era games.

Same here! I am a MegaMan geek! Best game ever.

I have never played Harvest Moon, my brother is playing a version of it right now on the GameCube. The music puts me to sleep.

Edit: *Giggle Snort* I found this, I thought some of you may like it.

There is a Female version of Harvest Moon that just came out recently, though I don't remember the subtitle, or which platform it was on (GameCube, DS or GBA).

I barely have any memories of the Castlevania series. I vaguely remember sucking at the original and haven't really touched the series since. The original Castlevania is on the top of my list of classic games to add to my collection. (Along with Contra, Double Dragon, Marble Madness, Mystical Ninja:Starring Goemon, Yoshi Story, etc. etc.)

To see just how much of a Nintendork I am, just take a look at my games collection.

...and that does not even mention my collection of NintendoPower Magazines ranging from issue 57 to today, the large plastic "Nintendo" store sign hanging above my closet, my Link and Samus Action Figures, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Eevee and Charizard keychains, Plush Jigglypuff, Vintage Nintendo Backpack, plus posters, newspaper clippings, random sales flyers and other odd nintendo related items, and cornocopia of hardware and accesories, including not one, but TWO functioning NES units and 5 (Yes I said FIVE) GameBoys (2GBA-2GBC-and one original Grey Brick GB), plus the Advantage Joystick controller, NES Zapper, PowerGlove, SNES Mouse, SuperScope, "Hey You Pikachu" Microphone, N64/GB transfer Pak, memory cards galore...and a SEGA "Nomad" game system. (What?...I can't be a Sega fan too?)

All that, plus an extra copy of one of my all time favorite games "StarFox" for the SNES...for no apparent reason. (I wanted the original box and instruction manual...which didn't come with my first copy)

...so, umm...yeah...

[Edit:] Ahh Megaman...how I adore thee.

The only MegaMan games I have not conquered in the original series are the first one and 8 (which was not originally available on Nintendo consoles...untill the recent "Collection" release).

...no wait...I forgot about the GameBoy games. I've never played those either. (Is "MegaMan and Bass" part of the original series, or is it a spinoff like the X series, Battle Network serires or those sucky 3D megaman games?)

Wanna play a HARD game? ...the NES was full of freakishly hard games. For example...has anyone ever played the original "Metal Gear?"

...HOLY C@#$!...

Oh I really want to get that game. I've fallen in love with StarFox 64, but I relly want to try the original game on SNES.

Lol. My brothers can do it, yet despite my love for games and a big love for MegaMan, I don't think I've ever finished an game. So I can really relate on the MegaMan, I've only defeated a couple bad guys. Capcom is just mean like that, they make tough games.

Bass and Forte made their first appearance in Mega Man 8. The game MegaMan and Bass is part of the classic side series. It takes place after MegaMan 8, but I guess it isn't officially MegaMan 9.

And yes, the 3D games sucked. I don't like the Legends series or the Battle Network.
which was not originally available on Nintendo consoles...untill the recent "Collection" release
Which I'm so very happy they did. In truth, we don't own much MegaMan games. All my gaming is done with downloaded games on the cmputer with a controller I plug in, or that collection series we have for the GameCube, and some done at our cousin's house.

I'm hoping to have all the games for the new Nintendo, yet we're busy over here looking to collect all the MegaMan games.

Uhh, yeah. That is a bit disturbing.

I have been desensitized, so while I find that distrubing, I don't think it's as disturbing as it should be.
