Oh, yeah, like someone who can buy a $1,200,000 car out-of-pocket likes to eat at McDonalds. Maybe he's their CEO.

Well Bill Clinton liked to stop there, and he was the leader of the free world.

Well, it's not a pretty little fellow, is it?

The white one in that video was not appealing at all. But, that burgundy one in that photo in the article isn't too bad.

That was the prototype model, with removable panels for testing purposes, not an available color scheme. ...I think...

Yeah, I think that one was the prototype, and wasn't a finished model.

The funny thing is it costs you $1.2 million to buy, and it costs Volkwagen (who owns the Bugatti brand) well over $5 million to make each one. They're calling it an "engineering exercise"... I mean even the turn signal stalk costs them $4,000!

:o

I would be perfectly fine with a Mustang, or Corvette, or GT2...

actually, i'd sooner blow my money on a full-size hummer, the cool, un-citified ones that look like hum-vees.

While I could make do with a Corvette Z06, I'd hate to settle. Still, $1.2 million is a bit much, even at nearly 80% off, when a Lamborghini Murcielago can be found on eBay for only $250,000. That's about one eighth the price. Granted, it will take almost 4.5 seconds to get from zero to sixty.

What hurts even more is knowing that there are people out there that will actually buy one of these monstrosities. Be honest people: besides NASCAR racers and bank robbers, who out there actually needs a car that can push 230 mph?!!

I wonder how many miles it gets per gallon. . . Probably enough that we'll see the effects of global warming increase the very week it hits the market. :P

Hmmm...that jet will have to fly in low to fuel it up.

He could pull up to a rolling tanker instead. I can see one of those carsnext to me as I'm driving down the road. :coolflip:
