How the Pack is doing in Link Wars 2

Post by Baphnedia »

In a few days, a little-known contest I do (when I don't have the time) will end it's second run, along with the year 2-0-5 (god I love that song).

I'm not going to blab about all the contest info and stuff - I just wanted to let everyone know that if The Pack makes it to 1st place between now and New Years, I'll have something special for the Pack. I'm not sure how I'll do the gift part of the prize (I can't afford 600+ gifts, y'see).

So, if you want to know the info about this contest then proceed to the following link:

As far as The Pack goes - you're in 6th place (out of over 3,000 links) for Most Popular weblink. However, no ratings have been made. Below is the HTML code to create a votebox to The Pack's link and a link to other voting options (text links, etc). I'm doing this for the top 10 sites / resources in each category.

<form method="post" action="http://www.paradice.net/index.php?name=Web_Links"><div>
<table align="center" border="0" width="175" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr><td align="center"><b>Vote for this site!</b></a></td></tr>
<tr><td>
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="center">
<tr><td valign="top">
<select name="rating">
<option selected>--</option>
<option>10</option>
<option>9</option>
<option>8</option>
<option>7</option>
<option>6</option>
<option>5</option>
<option>4</option>
<option>3</option>
<option>2</option>
<option>1</option>
</select>
</td><td valign="top">
<input type="hidden" name="ratinglid" value="107" />
<input type="hidden" name="ratinguser" value="outside" />
<input type="hidden" name="req" value="addrating" />
<input type="submit" value="Vote!" />
</td></tr></table>
</td></tr></table>
</div> </form>

Also of note, the Freeborn Teaser stands firmly (for the time being) in 1st place for Most Popular Download, however, there are no ratings for it either. Here is the code and stuff for rating it too:

<form method="post"
action="http://www.paradice.net/index.php?name=Downloads">
<div>
<table border="0" width="175" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td align="center">
<b>Vote for this site!</b>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td valign="top">
<select name="rating">
<option selected>--</option><br>
<option value="10">10</option><br>
<option value="9">9</option><br>
<option value="8">8</option><br>
<option value="7">7</option><br>
<option value="6">6</option><br>
<option value="5">5</option><br>
<option value="4">4</option><br>
<option value="3">3</option><br>
<option value="2">2</option><br>
<option value="1">1</option><br>
</select>
</td>
<td valign="top">
<input type="hidden" name="ratinglid" value="22" />
<input type="hidden" name="ratinguser" value="outside" />
<input type="hidden" name="req" value="addrating" />
<input type="submit" value="Vote!" />
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>
</form>

This and other HTML options appear at the link below...

Also of note - I haven't found the spot yet - but there is an error in the code - the close tag </div> (second to last line appears on my site as <div>. So, if you copy/paste from my site, then make sure that you add in the '/' so that it works correctly.

I disabled HTML in this post to ensure that all the code itself shows up correctly. Good hunting and good luck. If I continue to not have the time to run Link Wars, then I will run it once a month (instead of twice a year).
Everyday should be Towel Day.
