What;s going to happen to this site after the movie is out?

Post by celtwolf »

no, i'm NOT asking what we should do about the inevitable spammers/flamers/whatever.
this forum was created as a way for the director and filmmakers of Freeborn to find out the general consesnsus of what a werewolf should be. so my question is: what will happen to this forum once the movie is made, out, and (god forbid) forgotten?
will this site just be another werewolf enthusiasts gathering place, losing it's origional purpose of being a resource?
will this site be opened up to the public again and introduced to other filmmakers who are interested in making werewolf movies?
or will this forum slowly die and be forgotten as well?
what?

If Freeborn were a fairly obscure film, it would still have at least a cult following, and that alone would keep this site going. I suspect that loss of traffic here won't be a major problem for a long time.

The Pack ever being deserted?

Pfft! Lol!

Err...wait. You're being serious?

I doubt that we'd have to worry about that, if anything, we may get more people coming in to join The Pack. Slowly by slowly, just like a giant amoeba, we’re making our way through and luring all the werewolf fans into our forums, where no good were-fan could resist joining and hanging around. It’s a great place, it is. If we want to keep The Pack as a resource, and a great place to hang out, then it’s really up to us to stay around and support it.

Hehe, yeah.

I think we should just start answering it "We're raizing it, and building a strip mall."

Yahoo! will buy the "Pack" URL and use it to sell luggage.

um, aparently a lot of spamming and no answeri ng my questions of any kind. half of the posters read the topic question and nothing else!!!
my concern is NOT whether or not this forum will die so much as what will happen to it once the movie is done and over with. i would like to see this forum made into a resource for other directors and fimmakers of other werewolf movies. but that's up to the admins and MR. Brownrigg to decide.

It's not their choice. That's up to the Pack to decide for itself.

yup yup.

Come to think of it, there could be more than enough information here for anyone to use. What else can we talk about the werewolf? Seems like we covered almost everything.

i'd have to agree. but opinions DO change over time, so ideas and opinions could be added to the forum that aren't here yet, and those ideas will evolve the idea of the perfect werewolf!

The Pack talked a lot about werewolves, yeah. But here are also people who talk about werecreatures at all. Here were discussions about social systems of wereWOLVES, but how about social behaviour of other werekins? There are a lot of not detected topics yet, all relating to the 'weres' and associated folks ...

I also agree with celtwolf that opinons do change and therefore there will always be things to discuss.

There shall always be talk of what a werewolf should be like :D New opinions and ideas come all the time.

I think we are going to have to have a new forum section for talking about were creatures in general. It would be something if we get to discussing every species on earth
Maybe even forum sections for other mythological creatures like dragons, griffins, ect. would be made.
