pretty gutsy thing to do here, mentioning vampires and all
anyways as some of you may or may not know is that this game has a werewolf in the game, his name is beckette, he seems to be an archeoligist but its not so sertin, its also not so sertin that he is evil or anything but im pretty sure he is on the good side, also there is a clan of vampires called the gangrel that have werewolf like abilities like shapeshifting, apprently in the game werewolves and gangrel have the same skill called "protean" which has a couple of levels and the last level you are able to get is called war form, im not sure what this looks like though

I saw some videos for vampire:bloodline, and it looks pretty good. But I doubt its as good as Castlevania: Sympothy of the night.

Goes both ways.

I have the game, but I can't get it to
work...
Its totally my graphics card (i think), the character in the char-creation is entirely black, and the opening movie either will move slow, freeze or both before crashing the game. Shame too...I wanted to be chased by that Werewolf near the end of the game i've been hearing about.
Its, apparently,
invincible. Unless you do specific stuff that would kill it.

The graphics arent all that great. What Kind of hardware your running?
Oh by the way before you play Vampire:bloodlines you might want to look at these videos for some tips.

I have really no clue. But the fact that the character model was pitch black and the video was slow and chunky doesn't leave many other reasons. *shrug*
Oh, and I found a picture of the
Werewolf!

Hmm looks cool. too bad you have to fight him....mabey you can reason with him like you can with the Gargoyle

Nah.
See, in the World VTM takes place in (known as 'The world of Darkness') Werewolves have a deep-seated hatred of Vampires. I could explain why, but its kinda a long story and requirers a bit of explaination of Garou lore.
The only way to deal with that guy is either A: evade him for four minutes at which point you escape, or B: Crush him in the observatory doors. The crushing nets you experience points, where the running doesn't. So if you want 'im to live, just run like you never run before!
Its fun what I've heard about him from other players, one guy said he ran into a room that was a dead end and the Werewolf bashed through the wall and ate him.

Like I said before, Gaoru really really don't like Kindred. Kindred in turn, really don't like Garou either.
Esspecially Red Talons. They don't like humans. Vampires are even worse, for thats a human with superpowers. Which means "KILL KILL KILL!"
As for Beckett, from what I've seen/heard from googling around, he's a Gangrel Vampire. Which explains his red eyes I've seen from a google image search. They do look pretty damn cool though.

I've heard of Gangrel turning into wolves, but this is the first instance I've heard of where they shifted into Crinos!
(For those who don't know, "Crinos" is the in-game name for Gestalt form.)

Gangrel can turn into Wolves. among other things.
Though VTM won't show it. The best Gangrel can turn in a mini-sun. And inflict damage to otyher vampires as if a real sun.
Protean at its finest.

is a werewolf...

ah, sounds awsome, the more you talk about it the more im being drawn to trying out the table top version, seems like people with protean thats good enough can basicly turn into anything O.o

Protean has some neat stuff, I've never played the game much, mostly just read material. Though I did get to play one session of Vampire set in the middle ages. Didn't last long though. Was pretty fun though.
My Gangrel in that game was
uber. The
dice were with me man...
I even managed to take down three werewolves (of the warrior tribe, get of Fenris, no less!) in a practice session with the help of a single other vamp who was little more than a meatsheild/distraction.

Well, it may interest some of you folks to know that a team has made a mod for Vampire: Bloodlines, where you can play as a Garou - a werewolf

Some screenshots there (Get of Fenris, Black Fury...)
http://www.planetvampire.com/wodmod/mod-werewolf.html
Haven't tried it myself, seeing as I don't have the game, but it might be interesting to check out.
