Well thats because your not a true gamer, not to mean of any offense, but I just hated when they diverse from the game waaay to much.Figarou wrote:Shadow Wulf wrote:Oh no not another video games translation. Doesnt hollywood have enough movies to mess up on already?
I don't mind seeing video games turned into a movie. Some may not follow the game. But I'm not complaining.

A true gamer? Oh, I was a gamer back in the days. But the games were not high tech compared to today. And having a PC during the 1970s was not as common compared to today. Its not fair when someone says I'm not a true gamer.Shadow Wulf wrote:Well thats because your not a true gamer, not to mean of any offense, but I just hated when they diverse from the game waaay to much.Figarou wrote:Shadow Wulf wrote:Oh no not another video games translation. Resident Evil 1 was a good movie, dammit! Apocalypse sucks.Hamster wrote:Better not ruin the series like they did with Resident Evil. Silent Hill in my most favorite game series.

No, at least 3 things f*cking rule about RE 1:
- Soundtrack (best horror-soundtrack in YEARS)
- The ode to 'Cube' in the corridor-scene with the lasers. Yes, it was a f*cking overkill but at least it was done good.
- Finally a horrormovie with the guts to show some good gore and blood.

Apocalypse exceeded the first one in my oppinion but it didnt feel like what Resident Evil should be, it seemed like it was more of an action flick rather than a survival horror/action flick. And on top of that they took parts from ALL the resident evil games and put it into one movie, that makes me real mad.

From the looks of it i think it's going to hit theaters like Resident Evil and Doom, it probably won't play in theaters everywhere since you tend to have to play the game to get the movie and not everyone plays video games. Not only that, but i can picture the articles that will come out from the critics saying that this movie is vile, this is not how a movie should be made or whatever. Point is its not a movie for everyone therefore not everyone will see it giving the critics a reason to get their grubby theater popcorn butter stained hands on it saying its horrid crap and spit on it. I know my favorite critic quote was that they said basically who ever loves this movie shouldn't go out with your kids Makes me feel all evil Rage against the critiques!
Can you imagine a life without creativity?
