Looks like it might have a good story, but the animation (er...3-D modeling) leaves a lot to be desired.

Ahhhh!@!!!! This makes me sooo p*ssed 
Everytime i see this trailer I get sooo angry. Why? Well, the character is actually "DoUgal" not DOOGAL. Second off, all the original voice actors were replaced by crappy American voices. The original list of voice-actors; albeit all British; were actually mostly known here in US. Like Robbie Williams (the singer) who played the original Dougal, and Lee Evans who played the train. Not to mention Jim Broadbent... to mention a few.

Ummm. . . Usually I only see one or two movies in theatres every year. . . And I don't think this will be one of them.

Not really. The major companies in the CG market, Dreamworks, Pixar, Fox, etc. have still established a maximum of two movies per year. Even if every company only released one CG movie a year, that's still more than one film for every month. If you're sick of seeing CG movies, it's not because someone is making too many, but because too many people are making them.
The only way I could agree that there are too many CG movies coming out is in regards to The Weinstein Company -- they just came right out of nowhere! This is the first time I've ever seen one company release two CG movies less than a season apart from each other. I know their quality doesn't compare to their competitors, but they couldn't have saved that much time by cutting corners like that.
