Does anyone have any cool ideas for an avatar?
The one I have now is too simple.
Help me please!
I would greatly appreciate it.

Hmmhh ... an avatar should reflect someting of your personality. What preferences do you have, what do you like? If you answer these questions yourself you'll find an idea for an apropriate avatar for you.

Yep, I agree with Curan. For example: I always choose cartoony avaters to show that I'm A) a cartoonist, B) am a silly person and C) an odd person. I usually choose a avater made by someone else to show that this is what I want my sytle to be like. On here, I drew my own avater...just because.
Your avater tells me that you are either a strong girl or a coolish kinda girl (like a girl who is aware of everything cool these days) who has a silly side (the duck) if that isn't true about you, then you should change it.

So your saying you can tell stuff about a person by his/her avitar
like if i were looking at Curan's i could tell that he is
Imaginative
Creative
and a good artist
just by looking at his avitar

That just about sums it up. One thing you should know, though:
JPEG is for photos, not text or line art

I had to use jpeg for my avatar. It wouldn't have fit otherwise.

You need to adust the dimensions first, and don't use such a high compression rate. Not that it really matters if you're looking to find a new one, just something to keep in mind.

If you host the image on a picture server such as PhotoBucket or ImageShack and link to it, you can use an uncompressed version of the image. (The 10kB limit only applies if you upload it dirrectly to the forum)
My Avatar, for example is hosted on ImageShack...
http://img446.imageshack.us/img446/7015/fox14pg.jpg
...I resized it to 150 x 150 to make it fit well, but the actual file is a low compression Jpeg that is over 21kb.
...file size could be considerably higher, and even be an animation if you like, though please be considerate of people with slow internet connections and not use an image of a very large file size.
If you are having trouble using
ImageShack or
Photobucket feel free to
PM me and I'll be happy to give you step-by-step instructions.
(I have more experience with ImageShack, as that is the one I have an account on.)
