My university has cancelled classes today due to inclement weather!! Check it out!! FORGIVE MY ECSTASY, BUT THIS NEVER HAPPENS!!1111 BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Well, the problem isn't so much the weather, but rather what the weather did to the roads. Though it's cold outside, it is most certainly bearable. However, due to recent rainy weather and now the sudden cold, there is ice on the bridges and roads, so the commuter students can't safely get to school. I am a residential student, so getting to class wouldn't have been a problem for me (only a 10 minute walk), but I can understand how it might be dangerous for someone who has to drive to school.

Lucky, there are having the same problems here, yet we still have school. They just tell parents to use their own descretion so that if someone does get into an accedent, the school is not liable. sneaky sneaky But it is fun when you are the only school in session within a 5 mile radius

I get a week of school for no peticular reason but hey I ain't complaining

Wow. Every time we had bad weather (and you must know what "bad weather" means in New England; Icy roads? Chip off the iceberg), the most the college I attended (which is 2/3 commuter students, so they have absolutely no excuse) was a two-hour delay. Luckily my professors would usually always cancel their classes individually instead.

Bad weather here means it's snowing and might stick but beware the snow lol. I have seen schools get cancelled because the weatherman was sure it would snow and the next day it was nice and sunny

Here in Louisiana, we'll take what we can get in the way of bad weather. A tiny bit off ice on the bridges = everything shuts down.

I can't even remember the last time schools closed around here. We don't get weather bad enough to close them, just enough to make the day suck.

Truthfully, I don't really like beer (or any other alcohol for that matter...except maybe San Gria...however you spell that). But, I didn't think anyone would appreciate a round of Dasanis.
