There is a canidate running for govenor of Texas. A friend of mine showed me his site that detailed his political stances and what he plans on implementing if elected. If you are in need of a good laugh or a mood lightener, read his stances. http://www.larrykilgore.com/Issues.html :roflmao:

Thanks for the warning. Texas has already gained notoriety world-wide over the man who would not misunderestimate the world. But, I'm wary of any looney who punctuates sentences with where they got that from The Bible. (Exodus 9:19)

HAHAHAH!!!

Ooooh.....mmaaahhh....gggaawwwsshh

Nobody is going to vote for that loser. While I don't support rape and slavery etc, who cares if someone's homosexual? Honestly. This guy must be really really religious or something.

Sadly, I am sure he wil recieve a disturbingly large amount of votes. (but nowhere near enough *crosses fingers*) I have met people in Texas who introduce themselves with an outstreched hand and the question: "Are you going to hell?" followed by "Do you take Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior?" I just rolled my eyes and politely excused myself.

:o Holy Ra, you can't be serious... (This really isn't helping my view of Christianity...)

Probably will. I've officially lost what little faith in humanity I had.

You're beginning to make me glad I live in South Carolina. That's pretty damn bad for me to say that.

Just remember we (Texans) aren't all like that

Wow.

This guy's nuts...

"Seperation of church and state!"

Crazy laws, nonetheless. And Succession! How has this guy not been arrested or something? You can't succeed... O_o

And I thought Bush was a zealot. This guy...he makes Zealots look like sinners!

Shock, and disbelief aside, it's funny. Sorta.

Its rubbish isn't it. Not many Christians are that...fanatical. Like honestly. There are Christians who accept things like homosexuality and individuality and even being vegetarian too, which sometimes I get comments like 'God gave us animals as a resource to use'. I don't buy that. Not all Christians do either, interestingly.

But yeah this guy is a fanatic and should be shot. I'm so glad I don't live in Texas, and I feel the need to ask my friend Allison, who lives in Austin, about what's going on too. If he's elected, there goes individuality down the drain I will bet you.

"You like werewolves. Off to jail with you."

Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, this guy is right there next to Fred Phelps in my book.

I know I'm going to offend a lot of people with this. . . But his "secession from the US" policy won me over -- if there are enough people in the state that want to follow that nutjob, I say let them.

What people from Texas don't realize is that when they say "Texas should secede from the US," people in the other 49 states are saying "Be my guest."

Bush and co. would never let it happen though. They need those electoral votes.

EDIT:

And when people greet me like that, I always respond with a smile: "Will you be there?"

Seriously, what makes people think we'll want to go to Heaven if it's filled with guys with sticks up their butts so big you'd think they were in a caber-tossing accident?

The Taliban must love this guy. I wonder if he'd support legislation to require a male relative escort for women in his family when they venture out of the house?

I didn't really laugh when I read all that, my eyes just got wider and wider :scream:

I also have to wonder why, if he's so heavy with the Biblicals, he supports the death penalty for anyone who engages in slavery? That's supported by the Bible.

Freedom of speech and religion is all fine and good but sometimes I have to wonder if people like this guy are worth it...

No, we agreed not to post in that thread. I didn't say anything about "word associating." :thpt2:
