...I don't see anything. The page loaded fine but there's a blank space where something should be.

Yeah I do.

I use Firefox though. Could that be why I can't see anything? (Strange, other things have worked with this browser...)

No, firefox should display it fine. I viewed it in firefox on /linux/, and if that works you should be fine. What version of flash do you have? Most recent is 8, I'm running 7.0.61.

I have no idea. You're gonna have to tell me how to check the version number, because I don't know where to look for it.
Hi... Mr. Cynical here.

It's just an okay 3 or 4 frame running animation in a loop, blended in with a bunch of sloppy fading effects and a short clip of atmospheric music.

Hell...if I had the right software, I'm farily sure I could make something like that in a couple hours...even without knowing the software yet.

Actually...it looks like that is exaclty what it probobly is... Someones first experiment with a new program that allows them to do fade and blending effects with animation.

If the creator of this is young and unexperienced, then BRAVO...good show. There's talent brewing there. ...but it's no "beautiful masterpiece".
I don't know why I'm so harsh about stuff like this.

*sigh*

It's Nice. I like it. Too much fading in and out of landscapes for such a short clip though. It's a commendable effort, no doubt. Immitation is a great way to learn from ones mentors, and I can't think of many better scenes to wet ones feet with than mimicking the Running Scene from "The Lion King".

I should try that, come to think of it.
(Though maybe I should finish my old projects first...like the pictures I promised DarthCanis and ShadowWulf)

...never done an animation before, excluding the emoticons I made for here.

Hmmm...

I would just like to appologise for my last post.

...its like this weird reflex I have.

When I see something that is getting more praise or more negative criticism than I think it deserves I am instinctively compelled to shout out a counter opinion to fix the imbalance.

After posting that, I went back to see the exagerated messages of overblown praise and admiration I had convinced myself I had read...but they weren't there. Just casual statements of approval.

...wierd...

I guess I'm just crazy or something.

I'm sorry. :( I'll try to stop and think before doing that again. ...my bad...

Oh now I can see it. *kicks computer* Stupid thing.

Apparently I have Flash Player 8. But you know what? I can't wait for 6.4 MB to load over a dial-up connection. I'm too damn impatient, and my mother would b**** at me for spending too much time on the computer anyway.

Yeah! Actually Moby produces some very atmospheric music. If you like that, you might like his album "Ambient." It has loads of just instrumental stuff!

Glad to be of service 8)

You will be greatly disappointed though if you listen to Animal Rights if you are searching for quiet ambient pieces. Animal Rights is good too, but for a different reason.
