I'm not normally a violent person, but I'm about to rip my computer into tiny tiny little pieces, throw it out the window, destroy the chair, chew the wires and electricute myself, because I can't deal with it anymore!!

Does anyone know anything about Broadband here? It might only be Australian or some rubbish. It's like cable I guess. Fast internet. Well this is so slow it's like snail pace.

I think monthly, the stupid piece of rubbish re-updates on download amount. We must have gone over our download limit. And it's my stupid family. Meaning I have to sit here,

And am unable to download any trailers !!!

Around here, "broadband" just means any fast Internet connection. In practical terms that's cable, DSL, or occasionally satellite, as well as the T1 lines at the office. Broadband is as opposed to dial-up through a phone line, which is in this day and age as slow as the Ninth level of the Inferno.

One also hears about "wireless broadband," which right now is mostly an idea, except for a few business execs who can afford to pay $80 a month to a mobile phone carrier on top of all their other Internet and mobile phone bills.

Hey the broadband renewed today. Thank god, because I was not the only one in this house getting really cheesed off!
