The man is funny! I watch his show everynight. I don't necessarily agree with him but he is hilarious. :lol:

I don't think he wants you to agree with him. I think his show is sort of meant to be some kind of Rush Limbaugh prolefeed parody. :roll:

It's a satire. Colbert endorses a liberal stance by portraying a mock-conservative. Kind of like Jonathan Swift's essay in 1729, entitled "A Modest Proposal," in which he "advocates" solving Ireland's hunger problems by eating babies. Scary thing is, a lot of people back then didn't realize he was being sarcastic and actually backed his idea.

The same way everyone at the Bush party all seemed to just smile and listen to what Colbert had to say. . . Which I hope they were doing out of politeness, because of Colbert is really that accurate in his parody, we have a lot to be afraid about. :(
