I really don't know what to think anymore. Maybe at the very least we can all get a few laughs out of this.

First, the minimal ammount of backstory: I sent in an application to be a contestant on Last Comic Standing, and according to a few articles I found, everyone that auditioned by a video submission (as I did) that qualifies will have their auditions viewable and voted on by visitors to the NBC website. You also should know that a section of the application asked "Who are the comedians you admire most?" Along with a few favorites like Lewis Black and Robin Williams, I listed two semi-obscure comedians that I'd seen on Comedy Central Presents: Adam Ferrara and Gabriel Iglesias.

So anyway, in the dream I had last night, I'm surfing the net. . . Which is pathetic enough, right? Here I am in my subconcious, where I can say or do anything without regard for cost, size or reality, and what do I do with that time? I surf the net! The same thing I was doing before I passed out with my nose pushing the J key.

So anyway, I'm surfing the net in the dream, and I visit the NBC website and find, lo and behold, my audition video hosted right on the front page. I'm exited, but then I watch it and realize that, in the video, I look and sound exactly the way I did when I was ten years old.

Naturally, I wake up and can't help but think about what I must be thinking or that this might be some kind of omen and if so, what kind. I finally get an answer tonight though when, out of curiosity, I visit the NBC website and, lo and behold, they've finally updated their main page to feature Last Comic Standing.

But when I finally get the video to play, who is their final featured contestant?

Gabriel Iglesias.

I don't know. Like I said, everyone that auditioned by video will be hosted on the website. I still don't know if they accepted my video or not, and even then, the only way I'd appear on the actual show itself would be if I got the most votes on the website. The only way I could picture myself appearing on the show would be if, when they finally announced on the TV show that viewers could vote online, they showed some kind of clipshow featuring the nominees.

I'll be sure to let you know if I am though.

I have the most detailed dreams around and thats not a good thing.
I'm the kind of person that observes everything and sees every detail, so naturally my dreams would be that way.

Do you also smell your own blood, feeling it warm and wet as it trickes down your arm, watching it drip onto the pure white carpet, staining it crimson, all the while trying not to pass out from the searing pain in the eye you just lost? If not, be happy your dreams don't seem more real than this world.

Man, Fate has shure smiled upon you that night. I personaly thinks its a sign alright, everything happens for a reason, yu remember that now.

I really wouldn't read too much into it. Sometimes dreams are just dreams.

It gets weirder.

Last night my mother had a dream that she was watching people getting off a cruise ship, but I wasn't one of them so she boarded and started looking for me.

This season, comedians are being housed on the Queen Mary. You had to see the look on her face when I told her that.

EDIT: Thought you might want to know: They finally updated the website with available online voting. The bad news is that I'm not one of them, but the good news is that their promising a new batch every week -- the current five were callbacks that didn't recieve passes from Bob & Ross.

If it's not in violation of the rules, I'll keep you posted.
