Words and phrases of latin.

Tell me what all you know?
Here's some examples.
Aliquando insanine iucundum est.
Sometimes it's fun to be a madman.
Pacta sunt servanda.
Deals are made to be kept.
Magistri te everberant.
Teachers beat you.
Quid rides? Mutato nomini, de te fabulo narratur.
Why do you laugh? Change the name and the story tells about you.
These may not all be accurate translations, but at least the meaning is clear.

it's lyrics to a favorite song of mine, and there's more to it, but that's the only part I've memorized.

Latin is one of the most useful languages you can learn. Nearly all of the most used languages in the world today have deep roots in latin.

Oh I love Latin Phrases. I personally hope to learn the language myself one day. Otherwise, here are a few I have:
"Dum Spiro Spero" ~ While I breathe I hope
Sapere Aude" ~ Dare to Know.
"Audemus jura nostra deferdere" ~ We Dare Defend Our Rights.
"Dominus Illuminatio Mea" ~ The Lord is My Light.
"Esse Quam Videri" ~To be, rather than seem.
"Non Nobis Solum" ~ Not for ourselves alone.
"Quis Separabit?" ~ Who will Sepperate us?
"Sic semper Tyrannis?" ~ Thus Always to Tyrants.
"Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno" ~ All for one, and one for all!
"Carpe Diem" ~ Seize the Day.

I'm afraid your translation of this is not correct. The correct meaning of it is:
Why do you laugh? Change the names and about your story is to be told.

there's no and
et or atqua both are and niether one of them is there
So not totally correct

Well, hopefully I can translate the german translations correctly into english ...
draco dormiens nunquam titillandus!
-> Never tickle a sleeping dragon! (Motto of Hogwarts)
ne invocis expellere non possis!
-> Never summon things you cannot handle!
bestiae sumus ut non bestiae simus!
-> Animals we are to become no animals!
And here an old drinking-phrase:
qui nos rodunt, confundantur, et cum iustis non scribantur!
-> They who blame us shall be proscribed and not be counted to the righteous!
