That is pretty cool. It should help cut down on the number of hybreds out there. Some of which are owned by owners who don't know how to treat them.

Wow, they gotten pretty close. They look very wolf-like, but they seem a little doggish, they don't seem to have that wild spirit and pride like real wolves have. To me they just seem like very wolfy siberian huskies

Pretty impressive. I'll have to show this to Cathey. She used to show dogs, and she's been trying to suggest wolf-like breeds. I'm happy if they don't have floppy ears and a perpetually goofy expression.

I bumped this 2-year-old thread because it is awesome and deserves more attention.

Check out this site for fantastic pictures: http://www.theutonagansociety.com/pages/gallery.php

Some of these animals are astoundingly wolf-like... in fact this breed may be the safest and easiest way to own a "wolf" possible.

They are pretty.

They dont seem too set as an actual breed yet though...theres a lot of variation among the individuals as far as fur length and tail. But it is an awesome alternative to hybrids. Hopefully a few more generations and selective breeding and they've be a "real" breed.
