I am curious if this is still happening; although I did show up a bit late, I'd love to have one or both of those if I'm elegible and they didn't get cancelled.

Well, there are a lot of people that registered at this forum and then started begging for casting calls and free pack pendants before their post counts had even reached double-digits, so I'm confident that not everyone registered at this forum is going to get one.

You, on the other hand, look like you've submitted a decent ammount of input, so it couldn't hurt to send the necessary information if you haven't already.

If we need to put some money down for these things I will cause I know it's gonna cost to make these things, even more so because their in high demand, so let us know if that's the issues...cause I'll be honest I really want one too

i know, i know, poor forum etiquite. i just wanted to light up the 'new post' pic so that someone MIGHT look in here.

i just wanted to know if it would be presumtuous of me to actually ask for a card. there seems to be a discussion that only those who actually contribute to the forum, i.e. people who post comments with actual substance, actually deserve the membership items. i'm currently only at 57 posts, and most of them have a resonable amount of substance. thing is, i'm still low on counts compared to the others i see on the forum regularly, and i feel like i might not deserve one yet, at least by the standards i see on this forum. i have no doubt that i'll stay on, and that i'll contribute SOMETHING useful to the cause. but i don't know if i should give the info NOW or when i feel i have attained the level of standards i've seen here. what do YOU guys think i should do? am i qualified?

While I'm not a moderator here, and thus have no real say in policy, I suspect that post counts won't be the entire prerequisite for getting Freeborn materials, should they ever be made. I mean, there's a Word Association thread in the General topics category that is, last I checked, something like 350 PAGES long. Wouldn't be very hard to use it to ramp up your post counts, not hard at all.

Be active, talk a bit, make friends, and you'll be worthy. Lurk, or consistently make pointless posts, and maybe you won't be. I think. Maybe.
