Ok guys- I have a situation. My mate gave me a mizpah coin as a promise necklace almost 3 years ago and since A-Kon it has disappeared.

I am going to try to buy another one, so I am offering cheap commissions.

$5 will get you a inked and colored picture of your character on a simple background. I can do anthros or quad as well as anime or realism. I'm not good at mechs, and won't do nudity(I will draw a character without clothing, but all the the interesting areas will be furred-over so that nothing shows) Moderate violence is ok. You can choose digital or traditional color.

I can also do bookmarks or conbadges for $3. Unfortunately I can't laminate them or provide a badge holder.

I ask $1 for shipping on 8x10 pictures, and $.50 for bookmarks and badges unless you just want to be e-mailed a scan or digital image. I prefer paypal, but check or money order is fine too, it just takes longer.

Hey, is paypal secure?

I want to buy this book and I have to use paypal, but my mom won't let me until shes sure its safe and secure.

It's secure.

Don't be fooled by spoof emails that appear to be from PayPal, saying "your account will be suspended," advising you to click on a link. I've gotten a number of them. Each time, I've opened a browser and logged into my PayPal account--not through the email link, but on my own--the account was fine. These are classic "phishing" scams, trying to dupe you into giving away bank account info.

But, PayPal itself is about as secure as using a credit card--which is just as risky in person or by phone as it is online, by the way.

Anook- PayPal is great, I've never had any problems with it at all. ^_^
Scott is right, though, don't open any e-mails that are supposedly from PayPal. I get them all the time too. If you think something may be going on with your account, then close any browser windows you have open then open up a fresh one and log into your account to check. Usually the fake e-mails are marked as "PayPal.INC" or something similar. If you accidentally open one and it shows what looks like the PayPal window, be sure to look at the address in the address bar. If it is fake it will usually be a long string of encrypted characters.
But as long as you don't fall into those e-mail scams, then PayPal is a wonderful way to buy and sell online. I've conducted many transactions through ebay and furbid as both buyer and seller and never come across any problems.
