anyone here been hit by a car?

well it was more like a sideswipe, but still horrifying. luckily I wasn't hurt much. but ever since that happened I've been really scared of crossing streets with a lot of traffic.

a few months ago when my mother and I was crossing a street with heavy traffic I was screeching my head off like a mad person...made a huge fool of myself.

To be honest, that is kinda...strange.

Better to screech your head off at the thought of being hit than to do so as you are being hit.

Well, I once hit a car, though I've never been hit by one. I was out for a run and one pulled out from behind a truck and I smacked into the side of it. Usually I can hear them coming, but it was one of those newfangled quiet ones.
