Note: When I say celebrities, I mean people you look up to, not those idiots on TV. I hate the word celebrity, even if I ever get famous for my music, I will despise it.
I just found out Steve Vai is a fake person. This sucks because he's one of my heroes. Maybe Steve Turner was wrong or just took Steve Vai (Damn having two Steve's in the same conversation, one who doesn't get along with the other too!) the wrong way.
Oh well
So shoot, people.

"Animals were not made for humans, not anymore than black people were made for whites or women for men" -Alice Walker-
I would like to meet Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Peirce Brosnan and Daniel Craig ( All actors who have or had signed a contract as bond for two or more films.) (laughs at George Lazenby)
Only celebrity I've ever met (that I remember anyway) was Gallagher.
Would like to meet (in no particular order) Robin Williams, John Stewart, Lewis Black, Anthony Hopkins, Anthony Brownrigg, and at least one member of Monty Python other than John Cleese.
I've met more famous people than you can shake a stick at (including your namesake, KH), but I don't want to go into it here. Don't want to crow.
I will say that I've met En Esch (formerly of KMFDM), we're friends and I maintain regular communications with him. He looks scary but he's one of the kindest people I've ever met.
I'd like to meet Tim Burton, too, as well as M. Night Shyamalan, Yo Yo Ma, Maurice Sendak, Jim Steinman, Johnny Depp, Hakim Bey, Inlakesh, Lisa Gerrard and Kathleen Battle.
I *sort of* met Kenneth Branagh; saw him across a room, but didn't formally meet. I'd like to change that.
Id like to meet Jakob Dylan (the Wallflowers) or Tom Waits. They are both very cool people and great muscians, Jakob for his lyrics, Tom for his music.
You are the only light there is for yourself my friend
I would want to meet Ton Roosendaal sometime in my life. why is he like a celebrity to me? He pioneered a piece of software that packs a decent punch all for free. If you don't know what I'm talking about try this... www.blender3d.com
Anybody who creates stuff for everybody all for free deserves some attention in this world. I'd like to give him mine.
Ps: Has anybody been to Siggraph 2006? I've heard Ton can be found there at the Open Source Pavilion a short way from the entrance and right beside Maya, 3dsMax, and Z Brush.
*nods* I could definitely see that one. Only problem I had putting him on my list is I'd probably devolve into one of those guys that comes up and says "I love your work. You know, like that scene in. . ."
So I kept my list restricted to celebrities that I find approachable. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure M.'s a great guy in person. I just don't think I could maintain my composure around him.
You know. . . A part of me also kind of wants to meet people like Tom Cruise, Ryan Adams, Adam Corolla, Jim Norton. . . Not because I think it'd be a pleasure to meet them. More or less because I think it'd be worth figuring out which one of them really is the biggest asshole in Hollywood.

I've heard that Corey Feldman is quite the bastard. I went to Comic Con years ago and talked with a couple girls at one point. Corey was a guest and he walked up to them, chatted them up all charming like, and when they asked for his autograph he said "Sure!" Signed them...and then said, "That'll be nine dollars each, please." The girls were shocked, blurted out, "Uhm...we weren't expecting to pay for these" and he said, "Oh, no, they're not free. I have to make back my expenses somehow. I'm gonna have to take them back, then" and took 'em and tore them up right in front of them.
Sure, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre cast sold their autographs too but they were up front about it. They didn't shark people like that.
I met Tony and I met Rich Mullens many years ago before he was killed(Christian singer/songwriter). I've also met Greg Long(another Christian singer....I used to be hardcore Christian, but have backed off a bit), and Patrick McManus(author).
I'd like to meet Tony Schalub. He is so adorable in everything he plays in and is a wonderful actor. Would also like to meet Joaquin Phoenix. Ooh, and Goldenwolf!
David Ogden Stiers? He was a guest conductor at the Mozart celebration last winter. Very tall, vital man, great voice projection, incredible presence. His mike wasn't on when he addressed the audience but to I and everyone else in the hall, didn't matter. His voice filled the space anyway. Didn't get to face-to-face meet him, unfortunately
