First and foremost, I am a musician.
Music lifts my soul.
It is my highest, and best calling.

So what did you do to be asking this question?

This was more the answer to the question, of the infinitely large number of things that I'd like to do - there is one above all... and it only took seven years of denial before the obvious was pointed out.
Pretty much, I'm tying off most projects that don't directly involve me making music, to others who are responsible and in a position to complete them - as I don't want everything else I've endeavored to fall apart.
I make music - and you're question was very insightful. Thank you.

Yes, I was a soldier - a site I'm building has it on there (though the tense will still change):
http://louislamp.com/awards.html - rather, you can take a soldier out of the Army, but you can't take the Army out of a soldier.
As for music, I've been a musician my whole life. I've also been a webmaster, a publiscist, a booking agent, a recruiter, and a whole bunch of other distractions. Eventhough I still have to write up that resume - here's a brief history of my time in music...
Performed on two continents
On 4 albums - including 1 solo album
- An Open Mind (Electronica/ambient stuff)
- Tracks Across America Volume IV: Tracks Across Time (Elite Veterans of Rock compilation)
- Bueno Provecho (variety/latin compilation)
- Rites of Passage, Volume 5, Resurrection (Sacred Rite, metal)
2 TV broadcasts and numerous radio interviews
- PBS in Hawaii
- Guest artist with the Buckz Boyz, Hawaiian Reggae Band
2 Unofficial Convention Appearances
- Dragon*Con (both), drum circles, jams with the bands that are officially there, Filk festivals and more...
...that is part-time. Take a guess what's going to happen when I go full time in the next couple of months...and Fenrir, you'd best be going to Dragon*Con this year (unless the Army cancels my vacation, I'll be there).
Fenrir, this winter was rather mild, but it was fun doing donuts in my car while driving down the street.
Shado Wulf, I'm already doing my thang. Music is fun.
