NO! NO NO NO NO!!!! This is too big of a risk!! Hollywood directors will just mess up the entire timeline and the story and morph it to their liking. Look at Resident Evil: Apocalypse....it just basicly created a Time Paradox.

I think the only reason why they are doing this is to go head to head with Halo the movie.

Half Life and Halo has long sense been rivals.

Half Life has been around a lot longer though

Half Life is what inspired Halo (according to what the developers said).

It'll just end up like DOOM. Personally I can't wait to see DEAD or ALIVE. OH YES!!! :howl:

Thank you!! Somebody agrees with me that these hollywood pricks will mess up the series.

1/4 video game movies have been good. all of them messed up how the game was made somehow.

Hmm...so far all video games that have been turned into movies have kind of sucked.

Most movies that turn to video games are PANTS too. Did you ever play UNDERWORLD????

resident evil: apocalypse was a hell of a lot better than the first one. they actually had stuff from the games. the second resident evil was so good that it made the first look good too. they are also making Deus Ex: the Conspiresy. They better not mess this one up or I swear to god I'll rip them to shreds.

I just don't get the "shooter game to movie" formula. Who the hell cares? The games are more exciting, because you're part o it. I say let games be games, and movies be movies.

I make an exception for games that MIGHT make good movies, only because they are more CHARCTER based. Zelda, and Metroid for example, have two main interesting characters.

as long as they don't get someone like 'the Rock' to act. it shouldn't be all bad.

Dammit Doom got axed badly by his acting.
