Yeah!! That's what I said!! I got banned!! They said I was using a bot or refresher!! What are those?! I don't cheat!! I never have!

The only reason I was making so much gold was because I was posting like crazy and also I was fishing and making threads and voting on polls and also drawing for people and they were paying me gold to do it!!


I can't understand it..I have never been banned for anything and I have never cheated on anything either. Just eariler today I was told there was a hacker going around by one of my friends, next thing I know I am banned..

I always get the bad end of the rope and I wasn't even doing anything illegal

I wrote them a PM back, but I haven't heard anything from them yet..What do I do..Why me

heh yeah I get it Fig The thing that makes me mad is that I had donated to Gaia Through Paypal to help make it better. My money of my debit card to give to them! Money I could have under for other more useful items then I get banned. Also that same day it happened I got a Mass message sent to me saying that there are hackers going around here on Gaia a few hours later this happens. It just seems like a big setup I bet there's no way to even get my money back. I feel really awful. There were people on there that had paid me gold to draw them some avi art. Now I can't give them there art and they lost money as well!! It's a big mess

But can you ever REALLY be banned? You're here now White Paw. Sure, you loose a lot of stuff and you have to come up with a new email adress but can you ever really be banned?

thats the whole reason, since you were posting like crazy they thought you were using something to raise your gold, its a thing they would probly do to anyone, its more to make it fair for others... although the hacker may have also gotten to you it boogles me

Oh, I'm so sorry that happened to you, Joker.

But you're no the only one. There's been a terrible uproar around Gaia due to people being unfairly banned from "botting." "Botting" is when you use either an automatic refresher or poster to gather more gold for you while you're away. Botting is completely against the ToS.

People who are banned for botting but haven't done any botting themselves are banned because they might have been paid with botted gold. To make sure people don't just bot gold and then transfer the gold unto another account Gaia bans anyone who has made any trade with botted gold -- even if the reciever of this gold is completely unaware.

Which I think is completely unfair.

Meh...spelling errors are common. Even the greatest mind can make a simple spelling mistake. Nobody's perfect.

It's err, it's a weird term, but it basically is a verb for making mistakes, ya I always wanted to know
