Creature Movies

One of my favorite creature movies is Tank girl

I don't feel like it's often thought of as a creature movie but it totally is. I love...oh how can I put this..this movie is so visually appealing, for me anyway. Their not just kangaroo men, they are kind of mixed breed with the two being substantial parts. This movie has action, humor, romance, and I have to appriciate how they did an excelent job of bringing this comic to life.
What are some of your favorite creature movies? We don't have to exclude werewolf movies since this isn't in that section.
