VERY SAD.....But very interesting. I remember watching this whole documentary. It's crazy how parents can be so cruel. :x

Says a lot for where the old werewolf myths and legends come from tho.

That poor girl...
I can't imagine wanting to meet her lousy parents. I have more respect for her dog pack than for them.

To be honest, I don't think they should force "rehabilitation" on these kids. If she wants to be with humans, sure make every effort to help her do that, but I've heard some horror stories about drastic and cruel attempts to socialize them.

My sociology teacher showed us that. It always bugged me that she walked on her knees and not her feet...its not that hard! And it a whole lot easier on the body, if you dont mind your butt up in the air...which Im sure she wouldnt.

Eh..I wouldn't be concerned for the way she walks..I am concerned about the girl period..I've never seen anything like this before..It's sad and cruel..I didn't know humans could be so cruel to one another..I know they are cruel to animals which down right discust me, but their own kind?!

I hope all like that rot in HELL!! That kind of behavior..Eh they are throwing the wrong folks in jail I believe at times..I mean look at this crap!! While it's truly an amazing thing it's still down right sickening!!

Are you serious?

Feral children are nothing new. I've heard of plenty of kids who were raised by animals (usually dogs or wolves) before.

If you were raised by dogs from a young enough age you wouldn't walk on your feet either. Humans have to be taught how to stand. As infants they crawl, that's what young children do. Hands and knees, on all fours. There was no need for her to switch over to using her feet because she was already in the quadrupedal stance used by the animals she was raised with.

I agree. If they don't want to be rehabilitated people shouldn't force them to. Just give them good food, water, and make sure they live a happy life.

I seriously doubt her intention was to reunite with them. It sounds more like she wanted to confront them for what they did to her.

This actually sounds like one of the happier endings. The only two other cases I've heard documented in great detail, Viktor and Genie, were never rehabilitated. I understand rehabilitation is a tough subject, but. . . Honestly, could you just leave her like that and live with yourself?

I don't think humans are naturally cruel so much as we have a natural inclination towards unnatural behavior. It's pretty sick that her parents neglected her all her life, but at the same time somebody else put forth the time and effort to help her.

Well, i didn't mean just leave her out there to fend for herself. I just meant provide her with food, water, and shelter, and make an effort to communicate with her, but if it's obvious she doesn't want to be with people, why force her?
If I had been in that situation and had what I needed to survive, I don't think I would want a bunch of creatures I didn't understand to take me away from my canine family and force me to adopt their own ways. I'm just saying the decision should be hers, not that nothing should be done.

That's disgusting! :x

I hope her parents went to prison for this!

This reminds me of some thing much MUCH worse happened to a girl in the US. What happened was this bastard of a man had three children one died because of him because of neglect, then he had a duaghter and a son. The mother in law took the son away to live with her insted with the father. and the duaghter stayed behind and went through hell with the first eight years of her life. The bastard tied the baby to a chair in a dark room and yelled at her all day and only time he touched he baby was when he hit the poor thing. When it reached the police it was too late because of the enviroment she ended up completely mentaly retarted.

The father killed him self before the trial... i hope he is rotting in hell for that! :x

Yeah, I think there is a special place in hell for child and animal abusers where they are anally gang-raped by an army of Hitlers for eternity.

Pretty weird to think that anyone could live with themselves, letting their children be raised by animals.

It's pretty incredible how malleable the human mind is, hm? Very adaptable...As cruel and disgusting as this story is, I'm rather fascinated by it.

I thought of Viktor when I heard this, too, Terastas...Poor kids.
