i would also be the one being executed......dying for what I know what is right in what i believed...rather than being forced to believe false beliefs...

Between the two, I woiuld probably be the executioner, because of the fact that the person would (hopefully) have something deservingly wrong, and dies for it.
Otherwise, I would be one of the people on the side who suddenly grab the gun, and start beating him with the blunt end.
But that's me.

it depends on the crime, if it were something like religeous persecution id be the executee

Totally depends on the actual situation.

9-10 scenarios, however, I would definately be the one who dies, because I could NEVER kill someone like that...unless that person was certain to kill others and/or cause terrible suffering for many, many others if allowed to live.

...and I would have to be CERTAIN of that...

Even then, I would never do it as a public spectacle like that, in front of a stadium full of people.

:supermad: WHY THE f*** ARE YOU SHOWING SNUFF PHOTOS HERE?!?! :supermad:

WHY IS IT OKAY TO SHOW SOMEONE ABOUT TO HAVE THEIR HEAD BLOWN OFF BUT IF SOMEONE DARES TO SHOW A PENIS SHEATH OR A BREAST IN SOME ARTWORK EVERYONE GETS HUFFY AND SNIPPY AND RUN OFF TO UNTWIST THEIR PANTIES?!?!?!

Sure, there's the old axiom about those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it, but I just don't understand why violence against women is shown and commented on and display of a natural body — or even a fantastical body — in the nude is decried as "inappropriate." The acts depicted in that photo are more shameful. Get your priorities straight!

The difference is...images of naked people tend to inspire most to begin acting like idiots.

Images like this...grim and disturbing as they are...tend to inspire the exact opposite reaction.

...intelligent, philisophical, and respectful conversation.

Where, exactly, did anyone say that what was going on in the picture was okay?

I feel I must agree with Virkastama, We should not even be debating or showing this, the woman probably did nothing wrong and is being executed for one simple stupid reason, that she's a woman, people do evil things in this world.

And I wouldn't mind seeing a sheath or breasts, so long as it is artistic and is respectful, for both sexes.

You should probably take the picture down but you can still keep up the scenario.

While they bicker (rather pointlessly)...

Executioner. Give me the gun.

Of course, what I don't understand is why people LET themselves be executed. If I were the one going to be shot I would fight them tooth and nail. The very least I could do is give them hell before I go.

Again...it totally depends on the situation.

If I knew I was going to die no matter what I do, I would take a great amount of pride and satisfaction in knowing I faced death without fear, and without giving the executioner the satisfaction of seeing me squirm and panic.

...so I would die with an expression on my face of dignity and strength that hopefully will be burned into my murderers mind for the remainder of his days as, deep down, he will allways know that he was a coward for killing me and a lesser man than I.

I still think that I couldnt let someone kill me without a fight. And fighting back does not mean that you are afraid or panicing. Its really about pride and life. I personally think not fighting shows that you are cowering and letting them win (even if they do win in the end).

This depends. Has the victim done something wrong? I would gladly be the excecutioner if I could know what I was doign is right... The blood would be on my hands, and no other. One of the biggest problems today is failure to take responisibility for one's actions.

But was the victim innocent? If so... Honesty i do think I would STILL be. WHy? I'm selfish. I haven't found anythign worthy to die for... Though i expect that would i find such a reason i would just as gladly be shot. You can do more in death, sometimes, than you can in life.

ill explain this in piece meal
if you choose to be the excuter then you think only about your self and if it saves your skin then you wil do w/e it takes to stay alive
if you choose the excutee then you are willing to die and have a better diginty and wount stoop as low as teh excuter

The thing that gets me the most about this is where the execution is taking place. . . IN A STADIUM!!! And why do you do things in a stadium? Because thousands of people want to watch!

If it was a completely different scenario, like if I was in a secluded state prison and I was going to give a lethal injection and the only people watching were the family members of all the people he's killed, I wouldn't have any problem with being the executioner. But if I was given an AK-47 and instructed to shoot someone in the back of the head in front of thousands of spectators that are either so hateful that they came just to see someone get killed, or are so heartless that they consider an execution a halftime show, I wouldn't put up with it.

Those are the people I have to live with after all, so if I was really the only one in an entire stadium that thought there was something wrong with this, I'd either turn the gun on myself, or the spectators. I would much rather have people cheering for me to be killed, because it sure beats having to live knowing everyone in a five mile radius around you is rotten to the core.
