Howdy! I know this is an older game circa 2000-2003.

Tis a fun space simulation game-first or third person shooting options.

You can also play for FREE once you bought the game and do single or multiplayer gaming. The multiplayer game occurs on private servers and so there is no monthly fees.

Thanks to fan programmers, coders, and artists, modifications have been made ('Mod's).
These have added about 150-200 megabytes of content to the original game. Included in this added information are:

1) Better graphics
2)Thousands of ships and items
3)13+ new systems
4)40+ new music tracks
5)Better physics
6)13 new races
7)Improved reputation-much harder now to get factiion
8)Kamakazi and smarter AI that has been turned up to max
9)You can buy fighters, traders, and capital battle ships
10)You actually need a gightz comp w/512meg ram/med vid card

In conclusion, the fan modders have made a game from being shelved after finishing it...to one that keeps living and evolving.

The server I mostly play on is Aurora...BSA clan is the one I founded...be nice to get more people in it!

It's a pretty old game, I used to play but then got bored once I finished the campaine

If I can get my gaming computer hooked up to the ISP, I'll see what I can do.

I loved this game when I got it. I finished it a while ago, but lent it to someone so I don't have it now.

Freelancer is definetely one the games I liked more than some other 'titles'.
