...maybe set up a time and date for everyone to meet up in the chat room?

Is anybody interested in that? Because everytime I go in there...even when I stay for an hour, nobody comes in. I think it would be a fun thing to try. We could work around everybodys scheduele to do it. Though it would be a little complicated because of the different time zones.

Would any of you like to give it a try? If it doesnt work out well we dont have to do it again.

I can never get it to work when I get on I signed up, and will be logged in. But I have no idea where/how to type and post. Or where to see what others are saying...so fustrating

I have no problem with it (I've chatted with a few people since it came up), but the biggest problem with it is two things: Typing speed and planetwide location. Some people type really quickly, and by the time others get a chance to post their comment, the topic has moved on (Me, I can type at about 80-90 WPM on a Microsoft Keyboard, and 120 on an Ergonomic, so I've never had that problem.)
The other problem is where they're located. I know that at least half of the major posters here are on the other side of the planet from me. So unless I, or they, stay up at their midnight, it'll be fairly difficult to pull it off.
That complaining aside, I'm perfectly willing to give it a shot.

I added a poll to see where everybody is so it will be easier to pick a time. I also added a link to a map of the time zones in the US in my first post. If you're from outside the US please specify the time zone.

I'm in EST, but I tend to stay up till all sorts of odd hours.

It'd be interesting to chat with some of the people from here I don't already chat with regularly. The differences between people on forums and in chats can be rather interesting.

Ok so now we need to pick a day so we can cordinate around that. What day would you prefer...Weekday or Weekend? Though I think we're going to have to make it a weekend if we want to let the international people in.

Well... I can do it pretty much any day. Though with the reservation that when it's evening in the US it's after midnight here. So I most probably wont be able to get if it's on the evening.

Just dont count my timings when planning and say WHEN, I'll see if I can. If I just then can't... *shrugs*

Aha! The East wins again! And people say the West coast is weird. East for me, too.

eastern standard ...though after the 14th of this month i wont be on much at all because of school.....once i get off work at 16:00 i have to be at school at 18:00 so......
