The New Server

Well, its bigger, its faster, and its got 'plenty' of room to grow.
over a terrabyte of bandwidth.
5,000 email accounts (yes, in the future we CAN have '
username@thepack.network'
60,000MB of disc space.
The user galleries have 5mb of space a piece at the moment.. that can be grown if need be.
Getting ready for when Freeborn 'does' get out.. the pack could be flooded..
And theres lots more to discuss, but i'll go into that when the time is right.. it concerns the pack alphas and local chapters links..

Thank you lupin.. now I have to get the mods fixed.. The database was a nightmare.. mysql manager wouldnt let me update it.. it took forever.. then all the admin and login links pointed to calypso-blue still.. UNGH.. still dealing with little buggies.. But I'm happy.

Hehe, I'm sure you've found it, but there's a setting in the admin CP that holds the name of the site. I'm guessing thats's what was giving you problems.

so whadda ya think lupin.. server seems pretty zippy and nice.. anything in specifics you would recommend ..
I'm still debating on the 5,000 email acccounts I have.. would be nifty to have '
username@thepack.network' but how to organize that im up in the air about.. Im no programmer by any means..

Congratulations on your new Site/Forum/Neatness! I was enjoying the Werewolf cafe, and stiill plan to do so, but the old familiar pack of Fuzzballs was missing. Now, we are here, and all I have to say is WOW....you've done a great job!
The old site was great, but this site is so much better...

The only thing I miss from the old forum is the customizing of the titles.
Are ye planning to make use of that again?

Yay, I found it! I wondered if the changeover was why I couldn't get into the old pack and like an idiot, I didn't write down the new address.
The site looks GREAT by the way!

Love the new layout! And you even added a new and better looking chatroom as a bonus. Just letting yall know that I added the link AB provided to the first post of the Chatroom sticky.
Overall, I'd say we're almost a legit organization now, all thanks to Tony's exellent support, the moderator staff's admin skills, and the participation of The Pack members. I love you guys.

The mods should be fixed for BSRF, someone will have to go in and use the BSRF template to edit all of the other templates for the mods to actually show up there.

Getting us moved over must have been pretty monumental. I'm impressed with how flawless it has seemed to have gone. About the only thing that I can complain about was not having a link on the Calypso Blue site to point us here. I found out through MySpace and Werewolf Cafe. I know, you said to check for updates on Werewolf Cafe; but, that post wasn't visible by the time I got around to looking, because the Calypso Blue site was already down.
But, getting thousands of user accounts; tens of thousands of posts, heirarchy preserved; hundreds of emoticons; and so forth all moved over in less than a week without losing much of anything--that's pretty monumental. Kudos to all those who worked on it.
