I'll hardly be around for a while

I'm not sure if this is the place for semi-goodbyes or not, but the mods can move the thread if it really belongs elsewhere.
I'm going to be extra-busy for some time, and I'm trying to draw farther away from my involvement with various Internet groups. Partly, this is because my end-of-semester projects, papers and preparation for finals are all especially time-consuming this semester, but even after my last final, I intend to plunge deeply into the next phase of my writing career: trying to get my werewolf books completely ready for the eyes of an agent and/or publisher, plus the huge task of researching said agents and publishers.
I may be poking my nose back in here in about three months, looking for some beta-readers, but don't expect me to be posting at anything like my usual rate. I'm really going to try and be hard on myself, and be disciplined to stick with things and keep my nose to the grindstone as I pursue the goal of becoming truly published.

(Camp Lycanthrope is Matt Sullivan's.)

I wish you the best of luck. Come to think of it, we both are ultimately looking for the same thing--a publisher. It sounds like you've actually been looking a lot harder, though, as I've been too busy moving and taking care of mundane stuff.

Thanks everyone, for all the support! Life does interfere, but I'm trying to be determined and fight right back until I reach my goals.

I wish you the best of luck, I am looking for a publisher too, though all 12 of my books have only twenty pages in them, I can write ten pages evry two minutes. So... I'll just let you guys do the math, (sadly, I suck at math) I am 13, and I -hopefully- wish to find a publisher, my goal is to be like one of my fovorite authors, who started writing a book when she was twelve, and published it when she was thirteen. She is twenty so, and is still writing today.
But, either way, good luck Jamie! :)

If you want to get published, just keep polishing your craft for as long as it takes, read every book you can about the writing industry, and meanwhile stay clear of the scammers. To avoid scammers, read:
