ya i'm kinda gettin fed up with not being able to play ANY sweet pc games because my computer cant perform worth crap. I have pc games sitting on my shelves collecting dust... awsome games too... so i've decided to buy myself a kick-a** pc. I'm thinkin alienware, but i'ma ask around some first. I dunno how many gamers there are here, but any wanna voice any openions or make any recommendations, plz speak up. ^^

i understand those are pretty high dollar for the serious gamers in mind..... i just went to bestbuy for mine and its well suited for all the high level p.c. games out there..... and i stayed in the 600 dollar range....

If you want the best computer for your dollar, build it yourself. With Alienware you are paying at least 500$ extra for the name, then a nother 500 for the support. I built my custom spending $2500 and it still works fine. This same PC would only cost about $1500 to build right now.

There are X number of factors applied when building a fast pc

* cpu calculations per second
* bus speed
* ram speed
* ram capacity
* hard drive speed
* operating system that runs on your computer

Take those into consideration and you will have less of a chance of being disappointed after buying a computer.

sigh.... MY state of te art comp 5 years ago which cost nearly $3000 is less powerful than one I can get now for $600

Such is the gambit of fate.
