Indeed. It's a waste of time for some, but not all. Just reiterating... I met my real life girlfriend in SL, and I'm starting to make actual US dollars playing the game. Not such a waste to me.MattSullivan wrote:Just reiterating. Waste...of...your...life.

Again with people bashing the interface. LOL! Well, yes. SL isn't visually stunning, but it's primarilly a social game that's mostly designed by kids with little or no artistic skill at all. All the most popular places in SL have ace animators and modelers at the helm. Even so... the movements and actions seen in that video... are pritty much the same. SL is making new updates soon to further integrate and promote voice chat... which is truely what sets SL apart from other social games.

You must have spent money to get those clothes and I dont mean lindens. Anyway theres an avatar I really want and I might send in some real money to exchange for lindens.

The Blue Bear will be up again in an area called FurNation Polaris, and 1000 meters in the air as always. It is scheduled to be online around New Years. Lucky for us, I got my plot of land only a short distance away.
I'll send you a friend request Tyger.

Here's the latest photos of the progress in the Phoenix Military Complex. The commander Kaebora Quinnell Quaizar stands proudly in one of the fortified corridors.
The insignia of the establishment adorns one side of the meeting room, in the heart of the base. There are plenty of seats for gatherings, and a big screen TV for viewing movies. Yes, that would be my paw that got in the way of the camera lens. My bad.
And another all too familiar symbol decorates the opposite wall.

I'd reckon most modern chairs would be murder on tails. Particularly the typical office chair these days. You know, the sort with half a dozen levers doing arcane things that nobody can figure out, and with the chair back on a bit of tubing bolted to the central chair leg. All it would need is for the tail to get caught up in the works and it would be pain city.
The old kitchen chair I use in the study at home would be one of the few I'd trust if I had a tail: it's got the chair back welded to the frame at each end, and no moving parts.

Oh? Are you friends with Spotz Spork or Rainbow Pirandello?
I never got to know Rainbow very well, but I used to play SL almost all the time and Spotz Spork was my best friend there (actually, he's probably my best friend on the whole internet).

I've discovered an interesting fact. Because I had the Pack symbol adorning the Meeting room of my bunker in SL, i grabbed the attention of a former member. Apparently the person known as Ilobmirt Tenk is in fact... Psiguy. Oh how the hilarity ensued. XD He even sent me a PM in the forum as proof. I'm floored at just how small the world is today. ROFL
