So come on guys...where are the fanfics? Ive stumbled on plenty of fanfics from movies that havent come out yet..we're a little behind dont you think?
But seriously...do you think there will ever be Freeborn fanfics? Probably right? I mean there are comic book fanfics and boy band fanfics. That would be pretty funny though I think.
Well just wanted to share.

I'm a fanfic. Been at this forum since day one. I'm dying to see this film!! And I went out of my way to meet the director himself.
How's THAT for being a Freeborn fanatic.

I think she means stories written about the movie with the movie's characters by fans, Fig! Or were you telling a joke I missed?
I probably missed it.

Bit tired, still trying to enrol, thats what I was doing last night too, but don't know what units to pick!
Anyhow, yes, I'd say there would be fanfics. I'm sure you'll find stories about Dog Soldiers crossover with Harry Potter somewhere.
Fanfics suck usually, but there's the odd intelligent writer who makes fun of Mary Sue's and such. ;) But there are too many lame and gross writers out there, who turn the entire thing into an orgy or something.
And don't discuss Fanfiction with Robin Hobb. She hates anyone doing it with her books, and she argues heatedly with her fans about it.

hmmm...I think I got fanfic and fanatic mixed up.
Oh well...its to soon for people to be writing stories about Freeborn and its characters. Even though we got a chance to read the script...there WILL be changes later on. You know how it is when it comes to "editing."

Some times i like fan fiction when it's done properly, but usually it's some pervert that barely know how to spell and have every female character in sonic the hedgehog and in poke'mon and have a lesbian orgy!!!
(i rather enjoyed that one though, but it pissed me off in the end :p)

Agreed. I'll be here to write one! Unfortunately I can't write anything with just the screenplay. I'd have to see the movie first. But it would be an interesting project to take on!

I've found myself contemplating some fanfic story arcs--more ideas than anything writable just yet. Before I start it, though, I want to tie up some loose ends on stuff I've already got in motion.
I did have in mind the image of an investigator inquiring about werewolves. A few individuals try to urge him to avoid delving any further, first pointing out how ridiculous and career-threatening it could be. But, he's not someone who can just be eliminated and hidden. So, at one critical moment, one of the werewolves tells the investigator a Matrix-styled "this is your last chance--let it go, or be ready to give up everything you know about existence." He of course still pushes it, and I think you can figure out the rest. I've pictured this scene and one other, a cameo by Jack. The investigator (who doesn't even have a name yet, since it's still rough concept floating around in my head) asks him about werewolves, and he answers simply, "Werewolves? Oh, yes, I've heard of them," before trying to change the subject.
