It's no gourmet whirlwind but I sometimes throw it together when there isn't much in the pantry.

Re: whats on your plate
I've found a new favorite. I make a batch of pasta and then stir fry a vegetable mix (I usually use a frozen stir fry mix) and maybe some Ms. Dash in butter -add some soy sauce and others seasonings (it's different every time). Then I pour the stir fry over the pasta and top with horseradish sauce.

Re: whats on your plate
Leftover soup from yesterday morning.
Water, lean ground beef, onions, garlic, carrots, and oatmeal.
It actually doesn't taste bad, slightly on the bland side, but I haven't gotten around to buying any spices or anything yet. It smells rather appealing though, so I suppose the recipe has some promise. I basically just threw together about half of the applicable food items I had, boiled them in a big pot, and it fed me for a day and a half.
As for how it looks...well, it looked like someone else had already eaten it. I'm going to get some celery, and maybe some seasoning, for next time.
