It looks pretty creepy, but it sort of gets on my nerves that they're playing with the "all Voodoo is evil" stereotype.

Yah..vodu is just a combination of Christan and African traditions. It is the "magic" and spell casting part that people allways hit on. Even then, the "spells" are not evil, though there may be some aspects that are intended to curse or harm others. This movie looks highly...steryotyped and unrealistic in almost every way. i might go see that looks kinda intresting that stuff is another one of my intrests so i will see if any of it is true to my research(i doubt it
