hahahaha, I saw this when a friend posted it on LJ. It became like one of the top 10 most viewed videos overnight. It was crazy, but it did lead to some postings of other great cat washing stories.

Pure cruelty.

(of course this 'rundi would love it )
Bruce enjoys his baths. I just lay him on a towel on my lap and rub him down with Ivory soap on a warm damp rag. He just thinks his weird human likes to pet him with a washcloth for some reason.

I've seen people use this on their dogs before, but never a cat.
Why do people make such a big deal over washing animals anyway? I never got scratched when I had to bathe my cats.

The cat hates it but I dont think its cruel. Licking yourself does not count as a proper bath. Cats need to be bathed too and if they tear your arm off when you try and do it maybe the Kitty Washing Machine is not a terrible idea. The cat wasnt hurt, it was just scared. It would be just as scared with a normal bath only you'd be ripped open. I just hope the water wasn't freezing cold because then that would be mean.

I watched with morbid interest. It's decidedly cruel and heavy-handed, but for the cat appears only harmful emotionally. But, they're seldom happy about getting a bath by any method. Still, I feel guilty for having seen it from beginning to end--I guess it's like watching car chases that end in explosive collisions on "world's most insane car chase" shows, or seeing stupid people cole-cock themselves to unconsciousness in idiotic stunts on YouTube.
