Residual Physical Effects
Residual Physical Effects
Do you think after shifting a few times the werewolf would have residual physical effects such as pointy ears, light coating of fur, etc.?

perhaps skin streach marks...or sore gums as well

....wouldn't that lead to like skin sluffing off?White Paw wrote:Playful wrote:Do you think after shifting a few times the werewolf would have residual physical effects such as pointy ears, light coating of fur, etc.?

"Nam Sibyllam quidem Cumis ego ipse oculis meis vidi in ampulla pendere et cul illi pueri dicerent 'Sibylla Ti cupisne' respondebat illa 'Cupio mortere'."

That depends on how well prepared the Werewolf is. Each of the discussed problems have solutions; provided the Werewolf is aware of aware of the shifting that occurs.
Probably, after a sort of 'break-in' period, the Were' would become acclimated to most of the effects of the Shift.
Since our bodies know what we need better than we do, the Were' would probably start craving things. Just like in pregnancy...

You'd also want a place to den-up. Sleep would be needed as much as food.
Which leaves me with the vision of a just shifted Werewolf...wearing his 'jammies and eating a dagwood sandwich, with a glass of warm milk on the bedside table.
Some Horror beast, eh?

In my own storyline, I picture not shifting to have more side effects. To a werewolf, it's healthier to shift regularly, both mentally and physically. So, someone saying "don't try to resist it" isn't just trying to be melodramatic and inspire angst.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...
