So, is it worth it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... eName=WDVW

In my opinion, I would say no. At least not for that price.

Daaaang.... That is awesome! Do my eyes see that it's a copy of the original mold? I've not seen "The Howling" myself, but yeah go for it if ya want if your a real big fan of it.

You can mount it in the den and say it's your gaurd dog (or wolf). :D

The Howling: always stick with the original!

Post by Scott Gardener »

If it were the original from the movie, I'd consider forking over that kind of money. But, not for a copy. I find myself running through a chain of logic: if I were to get a copy, I could make a copy instead on that budget; if I could make a copy, I could make something better-looking; etc. Granted, I'd have to learn a lot about mask-making in the process, and it would involve a lot of time, but, you get the idea.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I wouldn't get it either, you might as well make your own for that price.

Pretty sweet, Eddie Quist in mid shift was my fav werewolf. It says "reserve not met" for that $500.00 bid, wonder what the reserve is? It's gotta be a lot that as that is one heck of a find. Cool.

Seeing as how the "Howling" is part of my username, I suppose I should throw my two cents in as well. Like other people said, if it was the original, I might consider handing over half a grand, but it's obviously a copy. It doesn't even look like the one they used for the movie. It's too cartoonish looking. Still, it's a great find and makes me wonder where this person managed to retrieve it.
