The ground rumbles and shakes as a form looms from the edge of the horizon. As it closes in, its shadow covers the land as it blocks out the light of the sun. Day becomes dusk. Overhead, in the twilight sky, clouds billow against the torrential forces as a form in the sky looms, so massive that the tides themselves are altered and exaggerated into a torrential force.

Sparks illuminate from the great dreadnaught, which are soon followed by a torrential rain of glowing bolts and cinders, which burst open into a violent downpour of mallards, white-crested, and more than a dozen other forms, both known and unknown, of water fowl.

Before you crashes a crystalline object, fallen from the sky. It opens, and a lycanthropic form emerges, its teeth sharp and its eyes glaring. In its hands is an unfamiliar four-pointed apparatus, a weapon it directs at you. And in the following instant you are enveloped by a spray of organic fibers, as the creature's mouth hangs open with mocking enthusiasm.

(Dodges aside, bends down, drops onto all fours and runs over to one side. Stands up, only to drop down and avoid another volley of water fowl. Drops again, shifting to all fours, darts about.)
