Nice try there, but I already did one like that. Notice that the shadow doesn't have a gradiant?

These are great; I love the shadow effect in the background and the way they just pop right in your face. So cool!

I made this myself.






But preparing the character by removing the background is a long process.

Now I know whats the problem. When you look at it from IE the picture is surrounded by a white background, but you cant see it with firefox, so it looks better with firefox. I never had this problem before.

Also, I like the spell check.

It's the nature of PNG files. I avoid using PNG in web design because of such compatibility issues. PNG is great for 3D texturing though.

Making gifs without the nasty dithering is hard to do though, so sometimes there's little other choice.

Ah, crap... I just made one for myself, finally figured out how to do it, kinda (it came out a bit wrong, as you can see). Unfortunately, it stretched out the "author" area, which I'm sure would have annoyed people, including myself. However, here's the picture, anyway:



My fault is the area which is white, rather than see-through so that you can see the background color of the site, as well as the over-blurred arm. However, that top line of white is the fault of the site I had host it. The character is vigilante Violence Man, who is kinda like a Punisher parody, although the creator admits that upon creation, all he knew of the Punisher was that he had a skull on his shirt and used a crap-load of guns. I encourage everyone to read it, it's rather funny.
