ugh, I do not understand the hype for anything NASCAR >.< seriously, watching cars go around in a circle for hours is not my thought of a good time >.< or something that should be televised.
But thats my thought, theres got to be some reason why people like it, I just have not found it.

tsk tsk u peeps. it is boring at first. but, if you follow all the technical crap, and can root for a few drivers, it can get pretty intinse. man, martin was so close to winning this year too. finihsed second. someone nosed ahead of him on the last stretch....

I've seen Nascar a few times over here, and since I'm gradually working into the Motorsports scene (Next week i'm at Silverstone for a test session with a GT team = *ONE VERY HAPPY WULFER!
)
It's quite interesting from a technical standpoint for instance, how so much power can be found when running those restricter plates under the carburettors
But i can see how some people find it boring with most tracks being ovals, the street circuits as you call them do provide more of a challenge than outright speed but that's probably because i was raised on things like Formula 1 and Touring cars

I'm definitely into NASCAR and was rather sad that they hadn't brought out a yellow flag while Martin was in the lead... oh well.
Maybe he'll win the Daytona 500 in his next life?
