... You know, your main problem is you're a week and a half too late... Thursday before last, I could really have done with some cooling-down. Since then, though, Autumn has begun to bite and it's getting cold in the evenings.

Aladasian wakes up after sleeping in for most of the day and through part of the afternoon...
The harsh glare that emits into his burrow from outside is unnervingly bright, causing his myopic eyes to squint.
He peers outside to see a group of lupine forms, a ferret, a dragon and the U.S. military throwing globules of compacted, frozen aerial residue amongst and onto themselves, flailing and cavorting happily on the all-encompassing sheet of white powder, stained yellow in certain spots and surrounded by duckies.
He is never used to the sight of this wintery blanket of crystallized ice chips and chilled oxygen, but the others enjoy and relish the mass...

I though we were done with winter... What gives!?
