A friend from Wolf Web posted this video they made..It's seriuosly makes you cry if you are truly a lover of wolves, but I made myself watch it anyways. I'm not saying you have to..BUT we all know something needs to be done..It seems the harder we try, our efforts go unheard an the wolves continue to but murdered relentlessly..We gotta help them..Do all you can, from where you are now..Help save them if you truly love them..

Would I be considered abad guy if I said that the whole wolf crisis was just a bit overblown?

Don't get me wrong. I like wolves. But I don't think they're going anywhere.

wolves should be protected not hunted down and killed. its wrong what they're doing all of you are right, something must be done to end this and keep the wolves safe for years to come.

ireally wish you would stop showin me these things cause it really pisses me off to see what these damn humans do to our kind

...and people always seem so surprised that I hate humans.

The worst part about it is that these wolves are more dedicated to their mates than most humans. You kill one wolf you're killing it's mate too. Most wolves die within a few months of losing their mate because they are too distrought to eat.


I would happily dismember these people.

Why in hell would you do that?! These people must have dogs. If they wouldnt murder their dog why would they kill a wolf?

One thing about that video annoyed me. The point was made that humans are just as bad to wolves as wolves are to them. But wolves arent bad to them! I hate people.

Trust me it sickens me as well..No one of us cares about wolves more than the other..I am an have been a supporter of several wolf centers an other programs that help wolves, that doesn't mean you all don't care cause I had done this..Some folks can only do so much from where they are...I myself as a wolf lover, felt it needed to be here so I posted it..I'm sorry it offends you White Paw..Truly I am..

To Matt: Just because there are plenty now doesn't mean there will be plenty later. Think about that for a moment. If someone dropped a nuke on ur head right in the middle of a city, they are gone..No trace..Thing now if this happened world wide..You can't bring them back, even if a new life comes, with the war it could easliy be taken. lives of Man an Wolf..Lives peirod have a meaning. To me sayin that they aren't going anywhere is selfish..Alot of people might say that an be gone the next day..Just as easliy as a wolf life is taken, so can mans..Karma will surely follow those who kill innocent, whether it be man or beast..

Joker seriously No...You did not offend me...perhaps i could have posted it in a different context....i realize you warned us... and as much as it hurts....honestly we should all watch and become very aware of the stupidity of what the human race is capable of.... that stupidity and the suffering of innocent wolves, and other animals, at that matter is what absolutly disgusts and inrages me

I still cant believe we never learn from our mistake! How stupid can people get, honestly!! I swear I feel like grabbing my rifle and shooting each and every one of those hunters along with their wifes aswell and see how their sons and daughters react. Yes it is inhumane but what they are doing isnt exactly humane either.

White Paw, I was speaking hypothetically! I would never do such a thing.

Except kill some hunters, I would do that. But I wouldn't get the whole family involved.

Aerial hunters sicken me. They don't have the right to call themselves hunters. That takes as much skill as shooting skeet. Less so when you consider that you can easily outrun the 'skeet' and have total control of the situation.

No skills and no balls, hunting an animal that they have no real, tangible, reason to hunt. That's just ...retarded beyond belief.

I don't hate humans for this. I hate the groups of humans that do this sort of thing. It's important not to blanket an entire species with hate for a group's actions.

something HAS to be done. It cannot be ignored anymore.

There is one good thing, the wolves have been taken off the endangered list and are now roaming free through out Yellowstone and other surrounding area's. Unfortunately, this freedom also comes with a price. The government is allowing the hunting of wolves as a population control factor. As much as I would like the wolves to cover the entire northern part of the US and then some, if we do allow them to spread now, then they will over run the buffalo and other wildlife inhabitants of their area and "the balance" will be ruined. Biologist(and many others) have been working hard to bring the wolf back securely into this world. Since they were reintroduced the wolf population has grown far beyond what is necessary for sustainability. This increase in wolf population is taking a toll on the surrounding livestock and wildlife. So, some sort of management plan has to take place to stop that from happening and to prevent it.


Ever since we settled America and the sport of hunting began, the diverse wildlife population has fluctuated and since more and more people continue to kill for sport, these populations continue to decrease and fluctuate at the same time. Lets say, since wolves have been taken off the endangered list and have grown so much that they are now the dominate group in their area. Imagine what an impact that will have on the surrounding wildlife, farmers, and even cities and towns. Wolves are becoming less afraid of people and don't mind coming near our homes in search of food and that's when accidents "can" happen.

Do I think killing wolves should be the number one solution...absolutely not. Now, I'm not saying I'm against the wolves. Human beings are still the number one cause of their near extinction. I'm against those who kill them for sport, but I am not against Wildlife Management plans that not only helped in the wolves dramatic comeback, but also in the control of them in the high hopes of keeping balance amongst other wildlife animals and humans.

Well I agree that wolves aren't in immediate danger of extinction from hunting. But what bothers me is the impact on the individuals. Wolves mourn the loss of a packmate. Plus there is absolutely no reason for killing. They aren't overpopulated and they don't hurt people. These idiots just want to kill them off because they think that will mean more deer for trophy-hunting(which it won't, prey populations need predators to weed out illness and mutation to avoid an epidemic spreading and wiping out the population)

Here are two websites that say that wolves are over-populating the area. Well, the second is much better, it talks about specific packs. In the second one, read the section
"Western Great Lakes Wolves", third and fourth. But, I'd suggest you read the etire article.

Er...where? WHERE does it say that? I read both of those, and neither states wolves are overpopulated, just that they're doing well.

So what if they are? Are they still supposed to be murdered? No!! It's just like saying the human race is doing such..There are plenty of humans..In some peoples case to many...You don't see people going out killing off a bunch of them unless they got serious issues...That's no excuse..If wolves are to many in one area, RELOCATE!! Why kill off a species that was already endangered once?! They were brought back to these locations, but now they are being killed off again!! WTF is that all about!! It's rather stupid..The same thing will happen over an over again..Why do that when there are plenty of places where wolves are wanted? This world is big enough for us all..
