I love the one who says "I want it"...because he whines!

Cute. How do you think they taught those dogs to bark/whine/growl like that?

I think its a lot of luck involved. But Ive noticed that there are a few main phrases that dogs say such as "Run Around" "Mama" "I Love You" "I want it" and "Hello". Ive seen more then one dog say all these. But I have no idea why.

you jus condition the dog. whenever it makes a bark/howl/whine/whatever that sounds like the word that you want, you use a clicker and click it, then you give 'em a treat. one of the teachers i had in elementary school taught her dog to say "mama" that way.

or instead of a clicker, you can say the words that you want them to be sayin. eventually, whenever you click with the clicker or say whatever you want them to say, they'll remember to say it so they can get a treat.

it's jus like goldfish. if you tap at the top of their fishbowl erysingle time you feed 'em, eventually, they'll swim up to the top of the bowl whenever you tap, even if you don't feed 'em.

I think this is less a case of humans teaching their dog to talk using food and more a case of a dog teaching its human to give snacks using whines.

Yes! My grandmother's dog used to say "Mama!" to her! Only when she wanted some hugs. She was so sweet! ^__^
