You know, when I think about it, wouldn't a vegetarian Indian actually be fairly good at hunting for beans? I'd have thought it would have been hunting for buffaloes (or whatever) that would be giving problems... 8)

I switched "beans" for another-prohibited-word.

Yes, "Hunts-for-Beans" was a terrible shot and couldn't track an Abrhams tank...but he was a successful succotash catcher.

<~ Ish vegan for practicality reasons
I'm happier and healthier eating no animal by-products. Better energy, better health - just a happier me.
Most of my friends are at min - omnivores for the same reason I'm a vegan, so I'm no militant nut about it.
Edit - Woa - I"m the only vegan here? LoL, I guess I should just be happy people here know the difference... now where I live >_>

Bonafide meat eater. <_< Call it an odd personality quirk, but I like the idea of my food having moved around all by itself at one point or another. :P

And, believe it or not, I once was good friend with a vegan, and he had the guts to put forth the statement to me that "Oh, so you're willing to eat it, but could you kill it yourself?"

And after much thought, I came to the conclusion that...no, I really don't think it would bother me to kill a meal myself. :meat: Just of the opinion that going hunting would be kind of boring...<_< What am I going to hunt, deer? That's cheating out here, deer aren't even scared of you around here and are apparently more than willing to stare right up the rifle barrel. Besides...it's not actually so much deer hunting as it is hiding out like a sniper and hoping one of them happens to wander through on his way to a lodge meeting or something.

I have no problem with vegetarians or vegans. Except the vegetarians who mistake their philosophical position with that of the vegans. Or the vegans who are pathologically militant but cannot articulate coherent arguments for their positions, yet wish to maintain moral superiority. That's most vegans I've met.
