Ok, let me qualify the impossibility of this occurance-

I have lived in East Texas all my life and we have never, NEVER, NOT ONCE had snow that stuck on the ground. Then out of the blue, just before Easter, just as the weathermen took us off of a thunderstorn warning, it started to snow!

....and it snowed....

.....and it snowed!!

Here I am at 22 with the first real snowman I ever built! Meet Mr Pringle!

Yeah, snow on the flowers. (all the flowers survived!)

My parents were having as much fun as I was. :)

But in April? :?

Texas does get snow...but NEVER in April. Especially in your part of Texas.

SNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

When we went to the snow, my older brother made an igloo. We thought we were going to honestly finish it!!!!!!!!!

What gorgeous pictures, you are lucky to have snow! Sometimes we get hail which looks like snow covering the entire place...but it's not. But sometimes it snows in other spots nearby.

Hehe, thanks. It was kinda sad, I was just trying to pile a bunch of snow up. Mom had to show me how to roll it around on the ground. *facepaws* Poor clueless kitty...

Evidence of Global Warming?

Maybe snowfall in Orange County (California) is next? I do hope so, I'm tired of driving for 9 hours to get to Mammoth Lakes...

The Day Before Yesterday

It snowed all the way down to Mexia, Texas, where I was working ER that day. Not just "oh, gee, I don't think that's rain; that looks like snowflakes," either. This was snowball fighting, snowpeople family building, dig up your car fracking snow. In April. April seventh, and it's snowing in Texas. But, if you're a scientist working for an oil company, then hey, the numbers look great about global warming.

Well, we're expecting about 10 inches between tonight and tomorrow... so we'll be sure to have fun driving in it while you enjoy some spring down there.

Haha, yeah, I think I might not enjoy snow so much if it was enough to require work.
