Impressive, but a bit too disturbing as household decorations. Even if I wanted a dead fish with a human skull face as a table decoration, I don't think Cathey would. The wife approval rating might rate about 1.4, somewhere between a Women of Budweiser poster and a brand new Falcon Northwest Mach IV gaming PC.

Very cool find! I can appreciate how he makes mythical creatures more realistic by giving them a body. And he did a flawless job! :o

Why is it that those creepy mermaid things remind me of PT Barnum's Fejee Mermaid? And is the human part made out of monkey bones, or what?

Would almost have to be. People are real touchy about dead things, especially dead humans, and I doubt many people would donate their relatives for some guy to make a "mermaid" out of them.

I love dead things. Bones especially. But that's just me. :P

Very cool stuff, though not at all a new concept. People were making the "mermaids" quite some time ago.

As long as no one is actively killing me for the parts; hey, if I'm not using them any more, I'm OK with doing something with them. Granted, I want first dibs on my organs to people on the donor waiting list. Two kidneys, two corneas, a liver, two lungs--non-smoking, a heart--bit of a family coronary history, but still under warranty--I've got some prime components. But, after those are harvested, if the rest can be applied towards something constructive, then by all means, have at it.

Unless there's a way to freeze the brain and transcribe its contents onto a digital medium for subsequent transhumanist reconstruction. Then watch the brain. The fifth toe, however, all yours. I have no idea why it has so many nerve endings that have to fire whenever I bump it into furniture; you'd think it were a vital organ.

Hey, if they can salvage anything worth having from my warm corpse, they're welcome to it, and if it means that I end up as a novelty coffee table or an ornamental hatstand, then cool 8) . At least it means that I will have proved my teacher wrong, and amounted to something

*opens will*

Dear family,
Please donate my body to that Cabana guy so he can make my corpse into a mermaid-with-fangs corpse. Thanks.

Kinda creepy, but he's definately got talent. They look rather real as opposed to something slapped together.

The second one is my favorite.

Piranhas ain't got nothing on that.

I really do not like the fact that you posted the "I want you to did for me" underneath my fill in the blank post...

I mean... what if you knew the correct answer?
