That is really amazing. I hope that they can use that technology in the near future. People are just getting smarter and smarter. Well, technology wise that is.

So now... while high school students are in class, they can sneak watching a TV slipped in between the pages of a book! I wish I could still be in high school to enjoy that guilty pleasure.

Thats pretty cool. TVs that you can hang on your wall like a poster! Must be super expensive. Though, they can make bigger ones right?

Arent they also making a lap top thats as thin as the Razor phone? My mate mentioned something about it.

Yep, can't wait either. I'm looking forward to the day a tablet PC rolls up into a scroll and wand. That'll be a lot easier on the back than lugging around today's laptops, even ultraportables. As Arthur C. Clarke said, "A sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

meh...no matter how thin the display is...its still a flat picture.

Give me a projector that can display a 3-D image in the middle of the room.

A 3D-Projector would be awesome...but i bet it would be extreme expensive too...

I don't see the point of it, honestly we have things as thin as we need them, sure those would be great for billboards or wall TVs, but still

How the hell can you guys not be amazed by this? Maybe you're just too young. You missed out when cable tv was brand new...and computers had a whopping 64 kb of ram. Maybe you're just so familiar with an electronically-driven world that you have no concept of what life would be like without this stuff...

Sheesh. I remember when ATARI 2600was the greatest technology on the planet...and you knew then, that video games would never get any better LOL...

That's crazy awesome!

They need to make a paper-thin battery now too, to power it so it does have dangling wires like in the video.

I was there when the Atari 2600 came out. Nice system. But the joysticks broke the same day I got it. (Stupid Cheap plastic parts)

Remember those Coleco hand held football games? Its just a moving red led light. Everyone thought it was cool back then.


Cable TV is nice. but I do miss the days where you can watch TV off the air for free.

One thing I hate about technology is that its constantly changing. Sometimes its for the better. But then again...it forces you to replace something you have. You go out and buy yourself a TV set. Its a big 70 inch rear projection 1st generation HDTV. After having it for a year or 2....you find out that you can't use the next generation HD-DVD player on your HDTV cause it doesn't have HDMI!!!

Those football games are STILL cool :}

Honestly, its not a big surprise that they are coming out with paper thin TV's. Technology is advancing everyday; the paper thin TV was inevitable.
Yes, I WAS taken back at first, especially when I watched them fold it but, now as I sit here and ponder the thought of the TV I am plagued with the question of, "Why do we need it?"

We seem to be more concerned about making our "TV watching/ video gaming lives" a lot easier than finding a cure for cancer etc.
Yes, there are tons of programs that are trying to achieve a cancer free world but, it just seems a majority of the money is going else where.

Will I buy the paper thin TV? Well, if it turns that they will stop manufacturing present day TV's like they did the VHS, then I guess I'll have too. Unless I to want live with out a TV of coarse.

Actually, I've seen people who have built their own. To varying degrees of practicality of course, but they do work.

Affordable, WIDELY AVAILABLE, floating cars :}

Well alright, we don't have any of those yet.
