Paradice Net is Down...

For those of you who sometimes meander over to my neck of the woods, the owners of the data center where my server is located decided to physically move the data center from NY to NJ without letting us lowly customers know. So, the site's been down all weekend, and will stay down until they get it back up.

That sucks man. They need some kind of mass e-mail system for notification.

Remember: some "ISP's" are little more than a few servers in someone's garage. When they are the ONLY access you have, it can be a mojor pain.
I hope Baphnedia isn't off too long...

Hehe, I'm not knocked offline. Just all the sites and services I host (intarnut sites and IRC). I just checked, and we're STILL down.

You ought to try surpasshosting.com
They're $6 a month for 200GB of webspace, and 2000GB of monthly bandwidth. Very sweet deal.

Kaebora, we rent servers, not webhosting.
Thanks, and I may still take them up on that offer (if it looks like the need for my server isn't as much as previously thought).
